Boot not closing properly

Doesnt seem to want to latch properly and stay closed. I can just pull it open. And it comes open over hard bumps. Cant work out what to do to fix it.

There are little rubber feet on the outer corners, you should be able to wind them back in a little bit and it may help.

Make sure that the latch and the pull cable are working, they could be siezed in the unlock position.
You should be able to press the latch to the closed position with a screw driver shaft then open it with the cable.
If it's siezed, lube it up.
