Bonfire 2015

Post by dstocks »

Well, due to popular demand, here we are again. Getting in early again to make sure everyone has a chance to book it in (although have been trumpted on Facebook by Kylie. Weve had around 20 cars to recent bonfires. Looking at 28th/29th March next year.

For those of you that havent made it to one of the 8 held so far it ends up being a great weekend. Im on a 10 acre property 20 minutes west of Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast. Its an overnight stay. If you dont have your own tent, there will be plenty of space in someone elses and there will possibly be room inside as well. There are plenty of cars to get ideas from and the opportunity for a little DIY.

This link pretty much sums it up:

http://ftoaustralia.com/v3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14435

OK, now a list to add your name to. Would appreciate if people that want to attend are prepared to send me a PM with contact details and ill make reminder calls coming up to the event (so you dont miss it). I have contact details for some of you already.

Where: 20 minutes west of Batemans Bay (3 hrs south of Sydney)

Oh and try and bring your FTO if you can (although ringins are OK too)

Hope to see you all there

cheers

      Also another thing,

The last few years I have had a few interstaters (Queerslanders) stay at my house the Friday night before the bonfire.

Can offer the same hospitality this year, so if anyone needs a place to crash on the Friday night then I can fit plenty of people at mine.

Have 3 beds, 2 lounges and lots of floor space available for anyone that wants to stay. Can fit around 8 people if needed.

Going to go ahead and reserve Schumie's bed now. (By the way Martin I havent touched your room since you left </3)

We may be able to organise a BBBQ if there's enough people to bother. If not we will probably order pizza or something for dinner. Plenty of fridge space etc. too and may be able to fit some DIY in on the afternoon depending when people arrive. We had some oil changes and auto flushes last year so happy to supply tools and space for small things like that as long as your car makes it out of my driveway.

P.S. Please BYO if possible.. don't steal all my beer! (Lawso)
