Do I have the right to ask for a writeoff considering future concerns due to structural integrity?? I prefer a writeoff, but the insurance company and the repairer are being silent on many things in the process. Is there an ombudsman for such issues? The assessor was supposed to brief me on what's happening and hasn't called me since the accident. I keep calling and have to get updates from the call center agent. When I called the repairers they are proceeding with the repairs without authorization from the insurance company and seem to be rushing the job.
