My experience with a lightweight flywheel (Fidanza) so far, yes when you let the foot of the gas the revs do drop more quickly but downshifts have really improved. According to my ECU fuel consumption (mind you this is hard to compare to other FTO's as mine recently had loads of mechanical work) I do generally get better economy but cruising on the highway I'd assume that economy would go down because the inertia that the flywheel has, keeps it higher rotational speeds easier therefor saving a bit of fuel. Going up hills are much better than before, absolutely tears up hills.

Driving around town, yeah its a bit harder as generally the stall point at lower speeds become much higher and its a lot easier to stall in general, but that just takes getting used to. Reliability wise, speaking of the terms of a GTO if you're putting more strain through the AWD system and your centre diff hasnt been looked after or needs changing it'll probably go on you if you do choose to do some really hard driving. Uncle also has a GTO 98 MR with Carbon fibre drive shafts from 3SX.

Clutch wear would probably be the same if not better as you have a clean surface for the clutch to grip to! Ive also had no chatter what so ever and NVH I cant really tell as I have poly bushes all around my suspension.

Looking to shop for parts? Just get them from 3SX, more GTO advice? Try 3SI theyve been through that discussion a few times I think!
