Hi guys,

I'll be along to lend a hand in the pit. Are any of you taking passengers? How much is it to be a passenger? Do you have to get there early for the briefing? What do you have to wear? Jeans and a jumper etc (don't have a racing suit or helmet, guess I can borrow one?)

Cheers,

:D Dont know about here - but when we had Wakefield, passengers were allowed - there was a fee of ??? (Steve/Robert?? Help - how much $$)

Clothing needs to be of a non-flammable material - something like Jeans and a long sleeve cotton type top are ok - not nylons... and yes - must be long sleeved. I think you can probably hire a helmet on the day unless some of the guys racing have spares???

Cheers

learners can go on the track... i think.... call unique and confirm if you are serious... hell there are 16y/o kids out there with a MR2 from hell ;) but they're real race drivers...

Spectating has a small fee (i htink its 5-10.00) due to the expense of hiring out Oran Park - wakefield is less than half the price.

If you wish to be a passenger in one of the cars it will cost you about $40.00 or something like that... you will need non-flamable full lenght clothing. (Jeans and a Long sleve t'shirt are fine)... if you have a helmet bring it... we will probably have a few spare helmets there but can't guarantee it...

Sorry can't make it to the track day, to far for me... from Canberra...

Would you happen to know an estimated time of when the next one might be?

I hope you take sh*t loads of pictures/vidoes for ppl like me, and this time you really should permanently attach a camera in the car instead of mikey holding it :P

UAS hold them every 6 months... we're looking at going to a few open days say once every 3 months... these are normally held on fridays however...

Rob and i were doing some designing last night to setup a camera mount in my car... hopefully we'll get it all sorted in time :)

I know its a race track and you shouldn't mix drinking with driving but a mate of mine might be coming with me and was woundering if he can bring or buy beer there. HE IS NOT DRIVING.

Also, Captain Smorison, what is the weather going to be doing? I hear there might be a storm brewing.

i'd say no to the beer bit (being able to buy)

there will be a food place open

weather is possible shower... the synoptic charts are a little bit sketchy at the moment ... too far out to guess accurately as to it will look like.. there is a cold front due tonight or tomorrow that will probably dump a bit of rain ... not sure if its strictly coastal yet or will come inland to oran park...

Speaking from experience, I went to the Wakefield Track day, umm most of the cars that were there were all done up mostly, yeah, but it will be the general croud of skylines, 300zx, 180sx.... etc etc...

But, yeah any one that is affiliated with UAS can come I guess, and the yall stick to their own groups, like us "FTO Australia" will be one group...
