But then I'll have no sunroof, it's a last resort option. And it wouldn't really be pushing it along, it'd be one step backwards lol having to organise a time to get the roof, a time to remove mine at the exact same sections, & another time organising someone to weld the new one on.

Is it much of a pain to pull the roof lining out and put it back?
If it's visible, then it's pretty much too late, I'd be onto it well beforehand.
And no roof lining isn't too hard.
When checking, blow some air out down the two black pipes up in the sunroof area to make sure they're clear and draining properly.

Got nothing to lose .. Not like you have to have it done by a certain time...

It's possible, but it won't be as neat as getting something new to fit directly in. Or as easy.

I do !
But I'm not going to make it down there on the Sunday, Saturday was the only convenient day for us. But I'd rather not pester you for parts on your wifes birthday  so I'll have to make it another time in the near future.
But yes, definitely need a bonnet and rear windscreen.

Sweet thanks, may have an attempt at that soon.

Awesome, I have the rear wiper on mine but I don't want it. Windscreens are still the same size yes?
