He hit Adelaide around 6pm and kept going as he wanted to be clear in the morning. Think hes spending the night either in his car or popup tent at a rest stop near Port wakefield?

He could have stayed at my place for the night, I'm at Port Pirie, 1hr past Port Wakefield.

The old timing chestnut... It's always the last thing you check, because it's the biggest **** to fix!

Thanks Phil,
I should have let you know in advance that he was coming through and sorted it, cheers though mate.
He passed Redhill at about 7:30 this morning.

Yes indeed, and after the amount of time we spent checking everything else it would have ended up being the quickest thing!

And he's there, got to Port Hedland last night, Melbourne to PH - 4500km's in 4 days, what a nutter.
Car handled the drive just fine despite clipping a small kangaroo near Kalgoorlie no damage.

Drive and a half that! Good road test though, for sure. Close call on the roo, was he on the highway?

Yeah highway, he set off too early one morning (4.45) and i'd been telling him to wait a little until the trucks had cleared the way.

Luckier miss then for both him and the roo! I know my FTO held up pretty well even running into one almost full on. Only was going about 70-80kph though.
