Anyone know where I can find, in mm, the maximum suspension travel for the BCs? Thinking it'd be easier than trial and error given how annoying it is to adjust the height.

I garauntee you wont get the ride height correct first go

Easiest thing to do is measure from the centre of the top plate (underside) to one of the lower bolt holes on a standard shock. Then set your BC's to match.

I counted the rotations on the lower section as I wound it up to match the measurement. Then you just match the rotations on the other 3 to get a level height.

Then if you adjust further at a latter date, do the same thing. Wind up 4 rotations for example (which is about a 10mm height drop) then match on all others.

Oh, it's not so much the evenness that I'm after (though I think the left rear is a bit higher than the right, might just be the camber or my eyes), but how far it actually travels down over bumps/holes/around corners. i.e. want it to not clip the fender on the tyre without being 4X4 height.

(and so I can fit some 255/40 semi's when my tyres die lelelelel)

That's gonna differ depending on how hard you set the damper adjustment..

Well, for full soft then, or close enough to it. Cause it's still a daily and the ride improved tenfold when I wound it down from the 25 or so it was at.

Set it how you think. Then if its still not right, adjust it. If not correct, adjust again. If not correct, adjust again. If not correct, adjust again.

HTH.

It's probably how it will end up going. Only slightly scratching now, so probably won't take much more height.

Gen Y: Doesn't want to adjust suspension - so pays for bags

Actually I was looking at baggin Bobby ... But was not sure how well the suspension would hold up when pushed hard.. I still wanted to drive the car, and not just have it as an "all show, no go" ...

What ever happened to 'measure twice, cut once'. It's not that I don't want to, it's just I want to make it as streamlined as possible.

Airlift did a comparison, by no means entirely comprehensive, but gives you an indication. https://vimeo.com/78528697

Don't think anyone makes a kit for us though, and it's all twice as expensive as coils anyway.
