drag combat ?

Post by G_A_V »

This is just an idea, but is anyone up for a night out at the races (drag combat)
For those who dont know what drag combat is, its a brand new quatermile track at eatern creek, where you can run your own car down the quater mile, or sit in the stands and watch all the beasts scream home

Yeah, would be interested in going to have a look. Don't know about running my car - after all, going in a straight line, while fun, is not the best fun in driving.

So yes, I would be interested. A long way from Newcastle to go, but hey, I also went to Sydney to play ten pin bowling so I can't use that as an excuse!

:)

Yeah I was there about 2 months ago, saw a supra doing 8 sec that night!

Never seen any FTO there so far. Q: A standard GPX can do about 15sec... is that correct?

is this going to happen anytime soon?
it'd be good to line up against other FTO's.

At least there's power in numbers... it be good to have a few FTOs in 1 night.

It'd be a great night out... and the girls can sit, watch and cheer (ie. wives, gf's, not women owners.. they can drag too) 8)

good thing no one has told you to do a search :P hehehe...
it's in the Motorsport section... if you plan to go maybe you should create a new topic under the performance section so it's more visible... hopefully some FTOs will go (maybe I'll get pressured in to do it)... so u running for sure?
