missing brake spring

Hi guy's I have taken off my from callipers' to put new seals in and noticed my right disk is missing a M shaped spring that holds the rotors on. left side nice and snug and has two of these springs right side has one and loose as hell is this normal or what cheers

Nope, not normal. Itll rattle like a bastard.

    I may have one. Im not sure they are the same though. There may be a different one for each side of the caliper. Are you able to confirm. And if they are different, which one is missing.

      I managed to pick one up from a 96 Lancer a mate had. it's. Slightly longer but should do the trick if not it is the right side rotor thanks mate much appreciated I'll keep you posted.

      +1 they rattle like a mofo. Been there done that. Will sound like control arm about to fall out, lol. Find one!

      The Lancer one didn't work out but I put the correct sized tyres on the font and that helps a bit. On another note I finally got my new IFS sensor today and it doesn't rev passed 6000rpm isn't the mivec suppose kick in

      You either dont have a mivec or have a 2 pin alternator (non mivec) instead of a 4 pin.

        It's a 95 gpx mivec I'll check the alternator in the morning I have done some more research it definitely sounds like the issue thanks for the help guys

        Did you let it warm up first? Wont go to Mivec until engine water temp is over a certain temp.

        I made sure it was warmed up check the alternator its a 4 pin no charging issues. The only thing that doesn't seem right is when I turn ignition on there is a sound coming from the efi unit on top of the motor its almost like a grinding sound like something is trying to wind But struggles car starts and ldles fine its only when I turn ignition on not start
