Post by Fawksy »

Does anyone know of or tried converting a Mivec to rwd? The motor not the car.

I've seen pictures of a 6A12TT in an old RWD Sigma.
Must have been on a Sigma forum.

Isn't that one different also? Gearbox on other side or something? Guess it doesn't make much difference when the whole motor orientation is changed!

That topic is interesting, I am looking at front engine setup. The mivec is such a great engine, we have a spare to play with.

Ahh, well then. That clears things up. The answer is probably also no, aside from the Elise.

I suspect there's would be a not inconsiderable amount of work involved, but that's an amateurs guess! What sort of car are you thinking of?
