GR FTO Turns over but won't start

Post by Speedracer »

Hi all,Iv recently purchased a 1994 GR FTO,2litre v6 mannual. When starting it would rev out for a second or 2 and then drop back to an idle. Now it won't even start and Dosnt sound like it wants to.Motor turns over fine but it is not firing at all.Have checked fuel and pump is working.I see that the stepper motor has been taken on and off a couple of times, could this be the issue?Any help would be much appreciated.Cheers

Checking your error codes would be the best first step. I'm throwing in the possibility of crank angle sensor
There are two types of people on forums; those that give helpful advice, and the others

Not MAF, have them all the time at work with no start. Unplug and she's gravy :D

Although does depend I suppose.
