so there no real point spending the money to turbo the stock engine i may aswell engine swap instead?

Put it this way: everything gets vastly more expensive the less you do yourself (and sometimes expensive even if you do).

Vectose has recently proven that you don't need to engine swap or spend over 10k (far as I'm aware) to crack 200kw, but he has done it well and proper and has an experienced tuner who knows their stuff. You're already struggling for traction even below that figure, and then you've got the gearbox to worry about like in Ben's case. :lol:

Exactly. And also made the loom for the ECU. And stripped the engine down. And did all the fitting (pretty sure). Etc, etc...
