GoPro Trackday videos (in the Netherlands)

Post by xchristox »

I know you guys are located literally on the other side of the planet but I have been reading along here quite some time. Member of the FTOOC :)

I went out on track a few weeks ago, first time ever with this FTO, sold my 'old' auto GPX back in 2014 and bought a GPvR Manual back in december 2015. It will be road legal next week, but I went out on track to learn the car on it's limits.

Quite careful runs, don't shoot me for it :)

Hope you enjoy

Part 1 of the session, 10 minutes of learning the car/track.

Part 2: Feeling a little more confident :) Step on it!

Ay, I saw you on the nutters group. Nice stuff as said before. I'm keen to make it to a track day down here, ours aren't as nice as yours however. There is a new one being built here in South Aus though.

Thanks mate :)

Yeah do recommend! It's the best thing you can do with your FTO. It's a car designed for spirited driving and all I do now is look into dates in the future, when can I go out on track again :D

And a new track sounds nice!!!

Fortunately in Adelaide at least we've got a few nicely paved (and some less) winding hills roads east of the city centre, but would be nice to take it on proper tarmac!

This is the planned track, about an hour out of the city.

There's also a smaller one up north, may get there once or twice when the car is running 100%.
