looking for an alternator, suspecting that its horrible at recharging (by the way it drops when having ac on at a stationary position and having just installed a sub)

Get it reco'ed. There ain't many floating about & new they're between 4-700 bucks.

I am ordering one from NSW wreckers for about $150. I will try and find out the name of the place for you of you want. Apparently they have a fair few in stock

Just make sure you get the right one. There are 2 pin and 4 pin alternators.
