Rear Brembos

Found this link post on the mirage forums on installing the rear brembos onto a mirage/colt without brackets etc and because the fto setup is the same it should work in theory. The mirage forums requires login so for those who aren't members here it is.
"The reason for this post is that i've had a couple of people ask how i fitted the Brembo calipers to my Hatchback colt. I will start off with a list of parts that you will need and then post up a how to fit guide, which most of it will be copied from another forum that i am a member of. As far as i'm aware, there are only 2 colts in the uk that have this setup and myself being one of them
Here is the parts that you will need:
> Evo 5-9 Brembo calipers
> Evo 4/5/6 Master cylinder & Servo. Evo 5/6 is bigger.
> Evo 4 front lower arms/ wishbones
> Evo 4 Anti Roll bar
> Evo 4 Drop Links
> Evo 4 Hubs (5 stud)
> Fto Rear trailing arms
> Fto Rear Hubs. Dont use the evo ones as theyre designed for 4wd
> Galant 1996 onwards (Non-VR4 model) Handbrake drums/mechanism (complete)
> Standard Colt handbrake cables
> Hel braided brake hoses
>Evo 5-9 brakes pads & discs
I also upgraded all the bushes on mine to polybushes but that should be self explanitry if you too want to upgrade them.
Now for the write up
Rear Setup
First off strip your fto trailing arms of the hubs, dust plates and caliper brackets to give you the bare arms, don't lose the 4 bolts with washers which hold the dust plate/caliper brackets on.
Next fit the Galant parking brake arrangement to your dust plates. Pic shows them already fitted but they aren't hard to fit. The two top bolt holes in the galant dust plate fit the fto arm but the other two need slotting. When I first got them I thought they lined up perfectly but turns out not
. As you can see in the picture they need extending to meet where the fto arm holes sit.

Next bolt the dust plate to the arm to give you this
Put your wheel bearing back on and tighten the nut, apparently they are non reusable so you will need to source another
Next fit the evo brembo 5-9 discs.
All thats left is to pop the cover off your discs and adjust the handbrake shoes until they are nearly touching the discs.
on the back of the calipers there are 2 sets of lugs which the brake fluid line is located through, they have one at the top and one at the bottom and you can use whichever you like according to which caliper you have on which side (left and right sides will use opposite to each other obviously) the trouble is because the calipers are not designed for the fto rear trailing arms the bottom lugs on each side catch the arm so the caliper wont sit flush.
I just cut the lugs off as flush as i could with the back of the caliper
you need to make sure you fit the brake hoses before fitting the calipers or they wont go on, this is how tight it is:
The evo caliper bolts are slightly too long so i had to cut them down about 10mm to stop them catching the disc
Fitting the Calipers in place is near impossible this is done whilst everything is on the car as there is no way of getting a spanner or ratchet in there ! So i built this whole setup off of the car and got a mate to help hold it up whilst fitting it as its very heavy when all together !
In the last picture the caliper is on the wrong side, but i have changed this. Make sure that the bleeding nipple is at the top when fitting them otherwise when you bleed the calipers not all of the air comes out !"
