Overheating..

Car only over heats when i go up hills! seems stupid i know...

the top radiator hose is boiling hot and the bottom luke warm?

Think my thermostat is not opening or my radiator is blocked? any ideas

also. when i drive with my windows up and hit mivec it sounds like its supercharged! probably not normal xD

Pull thermostat out. Whining could be water pump.

Yeah do the basics. Thermostat. Radiator cap. Coolant. Temperature sensor.

Silver one did that when I first got it and it ended up being blocked rad though.

i did not even have a thermostat to start with..... just threw one in! its running great. but now it dies when i start it and have to give it a little rev??

Nah that was 5 years ago, the year of the stepper. Was right after the year of the borked torque converter.

You mean a half head of hair ago?? But now I think about if i'm balder than you I assume you had implants done :lol:

@ OP look at Radiator, Coolant temp sensor, even faulty temp gauge on dash, radiator cap and thermostat.
Doubt water pump if its flowing wont be that.

Another to watch for is heavily clogged condenser and front bar as airflow may be restricted
