V8 Swap
So i know that it wouldn't be worth it to convert to a v8 but i though itd be fun to talk about how you could possible do it and what engine you would use
What do you think?

Re: V8 Swap
there's been an attempt discussed on the internet, and a website made for it to, but nobody has ever done it.
It would require ridiculous money, and you'd have to convert to RWD.
Unsure if the engine bay would even be big enough for it.

Re: V8 Swap
The sheer torque of a V8 would be too much for an FTO...... :lol:bjk wrote:Anything is possible with deep enough pockets

Richard Batty would be making more than a moderately modified V8. Break out the welder and it would be possible to do it.Vectose wrote:The sheer torque of a V8 would be too much for an FTO......bjk wrote:Anything is possible with deep enough pockets

Has a rwd tunnel in the firewall but, for the gearbox so an FTO would be harder lolbjk wrote:If you can LS swap an MX-5 surely the FTO bay is no smaller lol

Nothing a bit of chopping and welding can't fix.Sahin wrote:Has a rwd tunnel in the firewall but, for the gearbox so an FTO would be harder lolbjk wrote:If you can LS swap an MX-5 surely the FTO bay is no smaller lol
