Does anybody know the largest capacity the fto v6 can be bored out to? Or if there is a stroker kit available?

If you are talking about the non-MIVEC version and want to remain NA, the best thing you can do is replace the motor with a 6A13TT (minus the turbos) + use some NA pistons in it to raise compression + use the 6A12 non-MIVEC cams with the 6A13TT heads.

Has anyone actually done this yet? I'd love to see a MIVEC 6A13, but cost would probably outweigh the benefit lol

Actually I meant using the 6A13TT heads but with 6A12 DOHC cams.
So essentially de-turbo the 6A13TT, add higher comp pistons and the FTO non MIVEC cams into it (which the OP already has as he has previously mentioned his car is a GR).

David from RPW has told me this works really well and that he's done a few.

As for the 6A13 MIVEC, there have also been a few done but not really sure what pistons would fit.
In reality though this is a bit of a gimmick motor as the 6A13TT heads flow much better than the MIVEC heads so if you are building an NA car you would be better off with the TT heads with decent cams over the MIVEC heads with decent cams.

2.5L MIVEC just sounds a lot more appealing

I probably should have separated those statements, but yeah, I get what you meant!

Sounds like a lot of stuffing around by which point you would be better off leaving it turbo'd really.

There's a guy on OZVR4 from NZ that's building a 6A13 MIVEC.

He is also putting together a stroker kit for the 6A13 and also does cam regrinds.

Let me know when he's done.

Whats better to do though, just swap a 6a13tt straight in or the 2.5l mivec?

I wouldn't worry, you won't end up doing any of it lol

He has a point haha..

Also you would be using the 6A13 block. If you are going to all that trouble just keep the fkin' turbos on the thing and swap the whole 6A13 in....

Turbo will always beat NA, so this would really be just for someone who has his heart on staying NA.

I believe the guy from NZ has already built his 6A13 MIVEC however he kept it turbo (So it is a 6A13TT MIVEC).
Building it turbo is easier though as the stock pistons are fine. Building it NA is slightly more tricky as no one knows what pistons to use to get a desirable compression ratio.

I've spoken to the guy via IM though and he said this is a pointless motor as the 6A13TT head flows more than the MIVEC regardless of cams. Valves etc are all larger in the 6A13TT.

Either way all of these motors are not particularly difficult to build but it just becomes unfeasible to spend so much money when there are some very nice performance cars that can be had for so little money.
I mean, FTO + 6A13TT + brakes + suspension might cost similar to an Evo 6, and that already has Recaros, Brembos, 4G63T, AWD etc etc.
If cheap performance cars weren't so cheap then these mods might be more viable

Yeah good point hahaha :P

Speaking of the 6A13TT, if you were to upgrade them how much psi could you run? Are the internals forged? Or just pistons or rods

Nothing is forged, and I don't know how much power they can get with an unopened engine but it is more than enough for FWD.
Definitely way more than 200kw at the wheels

Considering I'm making 200kw on a stock MIVEC engine with decompression shims.....

On E85 though if I am not mistaken?

Yeah, he's on the corn juice.
Even the 187 or so he made on pump fuel would still be a handful.

Yeah for sure. It's a good amount of power for the car
