Gear knob tap when letting out clutch in 4th

So over the last couple days I've noticed this odd tap, jolt in the gear knob, only after going into 4th gear, in time with letting out the clutch... It feels a bit like a spring with a weight on it bouncing against it. No noticeable change to actual driving of car.

No sure if this will be related but I didn't have 4th gear in the old girl for a bit. It would pop out completely once under load. Found out I blew the ball bearings that hold the gear set in the case. The box and set where all replace before you got it though. Just throwing out ideas lol.

Well I hope it ain't that again.
the box has been apart at least, nothing seemed really out of whack. Stays in gear fine. Guess I'll see if it gets worse lol
