Yee, I got the same problem for my passinger door.
Sometimes it unlockes, sometimes doesnt. Also, never lockes.
I went inside the door, cleaned and lubricate everything, but this didnt solve my problem.
Today I saw an article about this issue, about putting a new motor in, see how you go. If this works, let me know, I will try as well.

Hey YLD-FTO,
do you know which motor did they use to change with?
Is it the same as original or some other one which will do the same job?
And where can we get this from.
It is really ennoying that have to unluck and lock the door manually all the time.

ummm... this is a well documented and common problem with the FTO. Mxysxy has provided you with a link with the relevent information, likewise there are a number of threads on this forum which cover this problem.

I don't understand why you are going to "keep looking" when the info in right in front of you?

Perhaps if you get a little more specific as to what you're hoping to find we can help point you to the specific information.
