How to drop subframe (completely)? and Torque settings

Hey Guys,
So some of the underside (where the subframe bolts around the control arm bushing in the front) are need of
welding and reinforcement. So in order to get to them i'll be needing to drop the subframe completely.
I have loosened it via 3 bolts on each side and the cross member.
What else will is it connected to (steering rack?) and will I be needing to jack up the engine ? etc.
I'll probably rip out the coilovers as well at this point in time to get them redone by Fulcrum.
As well as get the front ball joints pressed in and rear trailing arm bushes pressed in.
On another note is there any torque settings for those bolts in use? I've found settings for engine component bolts.
Any help would be appreciated.

Once most of the major stuff is out of the way I'll post in member's rides my car and its journey.
