Anti lift caster mod done on front end

Post by Rob Furniss »

Fitted new bushes to the front control arm in place of the rear bush, they are Whiteline extra caster and I've also fitted 10mm spacers between the cradle to lower it (recommended by Whiteline).
The bushes are offset and are the KCA429 ones for facelift. I had to remove the cradles that they sit in then get a garage to press out the old bushes and press in the new ones, then I refitted and got a wheel alignment done which is a must after doing this.
I also have the Whiteline camber adjustment bolts on the front (Repco had them in stock).

The car 'feels' better, more connected when giving it beans but this could be in my head.

The reason I did this was due to getting wheel hop when setting off hard (noticed at the drags), Whiteline recommended this as a solution.
