HELP! Removing Front Headlights

Post by bozhu001 »

I wanted to remove the front headlights so i can get it polished (all the heat from sun has given it that yukky stuff!)

However when i removed the 2 screws and the wiring, the lights don't seem to come off!!

Anyone got any ideas how to do this?

why remove it, why not just polish it on the car like most other people have done?

To remove the headlights is a very tedious task, you have to take the front bumper off and also the side panels above the tyres, near the bonnet.

Why don't you just do what I have done in this thread:

dont know where you got that idea boris, but the fenders definately dont need to come off, just the bumper. I got mine out and the fenders are still on.

hmm i found it easiet to just loosen most nuts off the Qtr panel, made it a bit easier to take off the headlight. so that the headlight could move a bit

I didnt have to take the front bar off though...
