Buzzing behind dash

Post by spetz »

Hi guys,

When I connect the battery to my car there is a buzzing sound behind the dash.

The door locks get jammed and I can't move them by hand.

I have taken out the fuse for the Door Lock ECU and the problem goes away.

Does anyone know what this could be?
Should I replace the Door Lock ECU or could there be another culprit?

It was removed because it was causing some issues about a year back.

It's definitely central door locking related.
When I remove the fuse for the central door locking there is no issue.

Is there some kind of relay back there perhaps?
