And given the Singapore dollar is just about at parity with ours, that's one f**ken expensive rice rocket.

Think the seller said it's a third car, so their net worth are very likely heaps above the average threshold.

Most Singaporeans will not own a car, and those that do, usually own (just) one, and it will be the more useful ones, like these:

Medium SUVs, like the Rav4, or 2 door coupes are considered luxuries.
They do have a souped and luxed up Rav4, called the Toyota Harrier, which happened to be very popular there, as it happens to be value for money, as it is a Lexus, but at Toyota money, I think.
