Piston for 6A12 MIVEC (or entire engine)

Hi

Does anyone have or know where I can source a piston for a 6A12 MIVEC engine?

Failing that does anyone know where I can get an entire engine?

Had a mishap at the mechanic while changing the rear spark plugs and it looks like something got in the engine and cracked a piston after they put it back together and ran it. They've searched all over the world and couldn't find one.

Fairly confident CP make them. Don't order from RPW. TME can probably source for you.

What's TME?

Mechanic contacted RPW, they get them made to order so 18 weeks apparently. If it takes that long car will likely be written off by their insurance.

Amayama refunded my money as the supplier didn't have any and they're long out of production. Same goes for all those type of sites they don't list stuff as out of stock you only find out after you pay and they try and source it.

You often see internal engine parts for sale on eBay UK.
But you never know what your piston to wall clearances will be when mix & matching like that.

Have you tried order a .25 oversize piston?
You would need to bore the block to suit
