Once again its that time of year, CHRISTMAS BBQ time, last year we had a great turn-out of about 30 cars, this year is going to be even bigger. We have a lot more members and the weather’s going to be kind I promise  This year isn’t just going to be a Christmas BBQ, we also have confirmed interest from several car magazine’s to attend, we want to have 40-50 cars or even more.

The BBQ is also open to all members of the Mirage Lancer Group and their friends. It will be a great chance for the two groups to get to know each other, and the Lancer / Mirage guys to learn a bit more about the 6A12 engines.

We will be using the same place as last time in Centennial Park, everyone who turned up last year had a great time.

Event Details:
Date: 28 November, 2004
Location: Centennial Park
Time: From 11.00
Cruise: Will most likely depart Centennial Park around 3-4.30pm for the cruise.
Cost: $10.00 to cover cost of food and drinks
Who: FTO Club of Australia members and their friends.
Mirage Lancer Group of Australia members and their friends.
RSVP: 21 November, 2004
Info Pack: http://ftoaustralia.com/downloads/20041128_xmas_bbq.pdf

Canberra people please register your interest here so we can track who's coming from where.

Hi guys

Even though there is still a little bit of time before the chrissy BBQ could you please start showing your interest now, so that it isn't left to the last minute as I want to avoid stuffing around too much.

Also if you see any of the FTO's that drive around Canberra that are not members could you please try to get them on board or at least give them a club flyer. I know there are a few female drivers out there and I would like to see more females in the club...

Cheers,

Well seeing as BBQ is this sunday....are we all just going to cruise up on our own or are we going to travel together?

Like Robb suggested - maybe meet up Thursday/Friday night and discuss the BBQ, for those of you going.

I can't come either.
The moved date screwed things up... Sorry... I think the moved date for the big BBQ event is not very good... for interstate ppl, as the whole idea of putting the date up early is so that people can make sure they are free 8O
