i need to get a lcd screen and remote sensor for my alpine tuner and gps that came with the car. Can the tv tuner be modified for australia, will the gps work here. The lcd screen lead has a square plug with lots of pins. Would it cost to much to converted.

I've done some nosing around on this issue as my car also came with a Jap TV, aerials and GPS system remnants. I have been told that it is not worth the money to do a conversion. It will cost almost as much money as buying an Australian brand new setup.

try renaming your subject to LCD screen,
