Rattle, Rattle!

Post by csvperformance »

Hey,
I was just wondering if anyone else had problems with their FTO's front speakers cage rattling? If so do you know how I can fix it? Thanks
If I could I'd put a pic here i've tried but i can't!

i assume u mean the cage for the mid range speaker. U will always get a slight rattle without sound deadening but if u have a fair bit of rattle then u havent fitted it properly.
I have a 6.5" Boston Acoustic mid in there with no sound deadening and barely having any rattles (only the rest of the car :P  :D ).

I took the cage thing off to have a look at the the inside of the door to see whether there was something there vibrating it seems more to do with the inside of the speaker though, I might just try a new 6.5" to see if that is the problem!
