Just as an FYI, these guys sell blue 6 led festoon lights, the type you would want for replacing your internal mirror lights. They also have white, amber, and multi-colour. I recently bought some blue ones and they sure do look nice :)

Cheers,

Fantastic find Ben, so now for those who can't find the right LED for their DIY dash job have another place for LED.

Maybe the Moderator would like to put a link of this page to the DIY LED one.

wellz, i need to replace my globes for the voltmetre and clock thingy

the lights for the clock area has blown, and i picked up some green leds today from autobahn.

the direct swap was easy enuff, but ffs, i killed one of the other leds when removing the housing plastic for the volmetre one

so right now, am looking to just replace the batt+volt+mirror lights to blue leds.

So akuma3, if your interested we can put thru an order together and get that $20 thats required - depending how many leds your getting as well?

I got my map lights from there... they cost about $25 including postage, so you don't need to order anything else.

Can't recomend them enough... I think I have the 41mm

You don't need to take the mirror off to change the lights, just get a small flat screwdriver and flip the lenses out carefully.

If you do want to remove the whole mirror though, pull down slightly from the front, then twist it 90° (carefully, of course.
