fto specialist nihon?

Post by AwesomeAsian »

nihon car parts?
i thought they were fto specialists with years of experience?
i call them up about a piston, they had an 1 engine left to pull apart, so i rock up and ask them for the r/h side piston
he said it doesnt matter, any should fit all of them, i questioned him over and over.
i was like bullshit
i need the r/h side
i even pointed the one i wanted him to pull apart.
so the next day i rock up to collect my piston, handed me my piston, i handed him 150, go home to find out it doesnt f**king fit.

i dont understand how they can not know the obvious if they are proffessionals, especially since theyv worked on ftos before, it even says r/l on the piston.

im just curious thats all.

I don`t know what happened in your case, but Joe & Riks are the best in Qld we have. Their mechanic is japanese and has worked on FTOs for years in Japan.
Most of us have our work done there and apart from their no concept of time , I haven`t heard many bad things about them.

Can't say I've had to do parts but so far I've been happy with the results of them servicing my car.
