HANGING ROCK CRUISE 3rd APRIL

Post by DZYRME »

ATTENTION ALL VIC FTO OWNERS

Guys and Girls, this will be a cruise with a difference. This time we will be travelling up North, rather than east or south. The destination of this cruise will be at the Hanging Rock Recreation reserve. Hanging Rock is about 80km away from Melbourne, and is a nice and easy drive.

We will be having a BBQ, which will incur a charge of $5 per person, to cover the cost of all food and an $8 charge for entry to the reserve. Any left over money from the the BBQ, will go to a chosen charity at the end of the year. There is enough room, to have a kick of the footy, throw a frisbie, or if you like, you can even enjoy the wonderful surroundings the place has to offer.

Please mark this date in your diaries. We hope to have at least 20 cars turn up at this event

The meet details are as follows:

Kmart Campbellfield
1434 Hume Highway
Campbellfield
(PARK AT KMART TYRE AND AUTO SERVICE)
Time: 10.30am

(Melway Ref: Pg 7, G10)

We will depart at 11:00am sharp. There will be no official pre-meets for this cruise. It takes approx 50 min to drive up there from Campbellfield.

Ensure you bring your camera, because there are some awesome backdrops for your pictures of your cars.

Brendan

i dont think my MR2 will be drivable at that time. The interior is being stripped down for the system. If i still have a chair in it, I'll come with it 'TYPE R' style

Finally, I organised my schedule, and found the spare time for this event, so, see you all in Hanging Rock.

btw, hanging rock just remind me another old memory of mine;
I used to work as a waiter years ago, and the house wine was from Hanging Rock winery. So, they supplied everyone with apron. I put the apron on and start serving people.

Funny thing was this huge "HANGING ROCK" writing was located right on my genitals.

Once again a cruise falls right on the day when I'm working  - so I'll have to give it a miss. Double-time Sundays are just irreplacable when it comes to $$$
