Review & Pics - Victor Harbour Cruise 23-04-05

Post by mrx »

Perfect weather and some fantastic roads made for an excellent cruise.

Although, in the end, only 3 cars arrived (after the potential for 7), it was still great fun! The roads heading into Strathalbyn were sensational to say the least. Lunch was at The Crown at Victor Harbour (with the obligatory cleansing ale :) ) before heading back via the beach for some photos (and some laughs watching people getting bogged!).

I have posted some small, low quality pics (for those without broadband) but if anyone wants larger ones (3008x2008) then let me know and I can email them or something.

You can view all the photos at http://photobucket.com/albums/y128/mr_x ... 023-04-05/

Hey Shaun,

Reckon I could get larger copies of the solo car shot of your FTO as well as the one with the ocean + sailboat in the background?

They'd make daamn good desktop backgrounds!!

Thanks for the photo's Shaun/Luca.

I can't stop staring at your car Shaun! Those rims are perfect....a little bit of dish but not too much. And is it just me or do have the camber setup differently?

And Luca....your car looks pretty much like what mine will when I'm finished. VS spoiler and dcuatro skirties.

Very nice gents.

Awww shucks. Your too kind!

Well, I think the rims look good too on the car (or I wouldn't have bought them, would I :) ).

As for the camber setup, The Bridgestone I went to near my old old work were really switched on and knew a thing or two about setting camber etc up properly. They even took the car for a "test" to make sure it was OK, and then adjusted it a bit before giving it back to me.

Well, thanks for the comments anyhow. Positive feedback is always welcome!

Hey Guy's sorry it's been a while but Having my car off the road has been a right royal pain. it should be sorted in the next two weeks. biggest problem has been time as work has got me on 12hour shifts. I'll can't wait to go for a cruise again. 8)

The victor cruise was great i can't wait for another!
