Official Cruise Saturday the 25th of June 11am

Post by sxcfto »

Hi Everyone,
I know things are a bit quiet at the moment..... BUT I want to have an official FTO Vic club get together for all the new members that have come in over the past few months!

Details are as follows:

Time : 11am (For all who hate really early mornings!)
Meeting Place: Birrarung Park, Templstowe Rd Melways 32 H4
Lunch: Sky high Dandenong
http://www.skyhighmtdandenong.com.au/index.html
Entry to Sky high Car Park is $4 and can be redeemed at the coffee shop when you purchase your lunch or drinks etc....
This cruise is Light open Twisites with a scenic twist !

Hope to see as many of you there as possible it will hopefully be a great way to spend a saturday afternoon !

Bring your CB if you have one and Cameras as there will be plenty of Photo opportunites!

Rudi and I were up that way yesterday and had an absolute blast.

Found some awsome streaches of road around the back of Kadinia.
Flat, twisty and deserted.

I know rudi works saturdays, but I should be able to make it.

Yeah - unfortunately I won't be able to make it :(

there will be plenty more though :D
As WR said, we discovered some pearler roads around the back of Cardinia, south of Beaconsfield and the lake - and to top it all off, they lead conveninently back to Wellington Rd :D

I'll keep my peepers peeled though, i'm def keen to go for another cruise.

I agree Kirb

Yeah I went to more FTO cruises then any other FTO members in VIC, I only missed 3 officials one in 3yrs, so I don't understand what this attitude business.

I've got a business to run & 3 mortgages, so please excuse me if not able to make it, as I take responsibility before a hobby.

Anyway as I said, I will try to make it.

Peace :D

Ok everyone get off your high horses this was not supposed to be an argument on who can and can't come to cruises I know not everyone has 9-5 hours Im more aware of that that most of you think as I worked weekends for the past 8 years !
I just wanted to get everyone together without all the crap that goes with it ... so can we start again those who can come to the cruise look forward to seeing you there .... those that can't I apologise for it being a saturday and Im more than happy to take your suggestions for the next cruise !

Guys,
People need to learn not to take things so seriously when I said what I said I don't say it in a manner where it is offensive, I think most of you know my personality by now to know that I am not an agressive person so I will apologise if I have offended anyone it was not my intention. I do realise people have to work on weekends and I am happy to organise cruises at other times but I need input from you to do that as I don't know unless you tell me.
Keep smiling
Toni
