That's what I'm concerned about. The last thing we want is a an apparent large turn-out and then a heap of people pulling out close or on the day because of Fathers Day plans.

I think other makes can come along, but they'll have to travel behind all the FTO's

For the caboolture people we could meet at the BP travel center North bound on the highway so when were waiting for the brisbane people an sunnycoast people we can get some maccas or kfc :D and its easy for everyone to find cos its on the highway, but i don't mind. Its just a thought

I think the problem there might be it's easy to get to from the south but from the north you'd have to do a u-turn somewhere down the highway? I can't remember the area that well to know where that would be.

You "think" other makes can come along? Pff - I'm coming anyway whether you like it or not. I'll most likely end up behind everyone else anyway as my car has less power than a stock FTO :( But it does handle better for the windy bits...

Jeff - I should be ok to meet up at the pub carpark depending on how early we need to meet (still not a morning person!) or I'll just shoot up the gateway to meet at Boondall.

I can def make it to the ent centre. Coming from the coast it might be easier if i give the pub a miss.

Interesting indeed...I'll most likely meet at the ent centre even though I am at Narangba, my co-driver will be at Boondall

Sorry everyone,
but Fathers day is out for me. My old man is getting on and its important to him.
I guess you all will have to wait for another day to see the Turbo Monster.
Hope you all have a good time.
Wish I could be there.

Cruise Schedule
Ok you crazy cats, here’s the schedule, if you have any objections, please direct them to that brick wall over there ;)

I’ve made it a late-ish start to allow everyone to cook his or her Daddy’s breakfast in bed before hand :)

Date: 4th September.

Boondall
Meeting Point: East side of Boondall Railway Station inside the grounds of the Entertainment Centre (see map below).
Departure Time: 11:00 AM (I’ll probably be there up to half an hour before hand)
Cruise Time: Approximately 40 minutes to Caboolture.

Caboolture
Meeting Point: Centenary Lakes Park (a.k.a. Caboolture Sports Oval, Apex Park)
Departure Time: 12:00 PM
Cruise Time: Approximately 2 hours, 40 minutes to Mount Glorious (via Kilcoy).
Image

Mount Glorious
From memory there’s a little café up on Mount Glorious called Maiala Rainforest Teahouse. I’m sure it’ll be a lovely place for tea and scones before the drive back down the mountain via Samford.

I have a rough idea of who's coming but please make sure you're at the relevant meeting points prior to the departure time. If you can't make it on the day or particularly if you're running late and you need us to wait for you, PLEASE CALL ME or someone you know is there. My mobile number is 0407 763 110.

And lastly, at the risk of sounding like an old fuddy-duddy, please remember we're out there representing FTO's, the club and in some small way, sports cars in general. We don't want to add fuel to the argument that sports car drivers are irresponsible or worse still have the nightly news reporting on yet another "high performance car" crash.

Looking forward to a large turn-out.

Cheers,

Gavin

So far I've got about 8 "definites" and perhaps a couple others. Pretty much equally distributed between the meet points.
