FS: Custom Droid Lancer - Turbo Conversion - Engineered!!

Post by Smash_Monkey »

Hey guys,

I know its not an FTO but its still a Mitsy so hopefully you will still appreciate it!

Im selling my Droid Lancer with turbo conversion - With Engineers cert!.

I have updated pics but my USB port is bunged so I will have to upload some pics next week from work. For now, click on the link below which has some OLD pics with OLD wheels, but it now sits on some sweet 18" chromies!

The price tag was supposed to be around $16K-17K with rego BUT I havent had time to get it roadworthied and rego'd (work 6 days a week and only have Sundays off!!), so I am accepting offers a little below that.

PICTURES!!:

Things needed to pass for rego (In ACT):

- Too low (but I have standard springs that should bring ride height to legal limit

- It has 17's on the engineers report (but is riding on 18's), so new owner may need to borrow some 17's when they take it back over to get roadworthy..

- The front qaurter panel indicator bulbs need to be orange, not clear... Again, easy fix..

- The windscreen water jets need to be black, not chrome. Just colour them in black with NON-perminent texta, and wash it off later. Or get stock ones from a wrecker.

- Number plate light isnt working (bulb needs replacing I think)

- They didnt do a noise test but it may exceed noise limit, maybe put a baffle plate in when new owner takes it to get rego'd just to be safe, and then take it out later..

**Please note that you may not need to address ALL of these things depending on what state you are in, but you most likely do if you live in ACT.**

To NSW buyers, engineers certificate was done in NSW so I believe all you need to do to get it rego'd is take it to a rego approved mechanic and get it passed.

I've seen this car in person and it is a pretty damn nice car.

Good luck with the sale.

What colour is that?
Looks very similar to my 3 layer custom pearl.

Am willing to swap lancer for a van (such as Ford Transit, Ford Econovan, Mitsubishi Express, Mazda E1800, E2000, VW Transporter, Toyota Hiace, etc)

- Would prefer a van with dual fuel, but not essential..
