Kiama cruise review!!

Post by Bennoz »

Well folks, top day. Lots of pickups, lots of stops on the way, but bugger me - to get 9 cars together was well worth it! And a half a good run up Maquarie Pass on the way home was good to... be better if we got the whole road to ourselves, but I think every sight see-er & their dog had the same idea today! Good to see so many well loved FTO's out there. Here's the happy snaps - I can email hi-res to those who'd like it. Just PM me your email address & mailbox size limit.

Hello peeps,

I dunno how i managed to lose everyone on the way back..!! i was following digital import and anubis.. ! then we went 5kn the wrong way, came all the way around again, and by that time Kazbah called and I dunno where I was exactly.

hehe, sorry guys, would have loved to come thru Mac pass.. heard it was very scenic..!

It was great to meet u all, and the lunch was nice.. wish we stayed a bit longer to have a bonding session, but i guess it was too windy..

Hot hot hot!! 8O

Dang good turnout guys!!

Good to meet new people and see old faces.
Was a fair way to drive but the drive home was short due to a rally spec Evo deciding to come along side the car.

And I got RBT'd in Moss Vale too

Now I just need to work on getting the ACT guys to come to something like this.

Oh and I like that rearview shot Ben :P

great pics Bennoz, though, what WERE u standing on when u took some of the above shots? :D

would have loved to come today, but couldnt find a ride...

3 things i noticed though

1) GOD-DANG OF A CARBON F. BONNET! lucky i wasnt there in person~ mighta spasmed on the spot!

2) afew ppl have installed there seat covers 8) , and i'm so pleased that so many of us bought them, because now overall we've increased the values of a lot more FTOs!!!

3) LOVE the Mitsubishi red diamonds that someone stuck on their bonnet! how much is it for something that size?

CONGRATS GUYS! i'm sure u turned heaps of heads, all the way there and all the way back!!! hahahha

might have more ppl wanting to buy fto's after the success of todays cruise

Thanks all for an awesome day. Was really good to finally meet a few fellow FTO lovers, as well as get a look at everybody's tasty rides.

Moment of the day: seeing a whole bunch of FTOs slam on the brakes about 50m past Heathcote Maccas :)

A number of people think it was them, so dont worry Anubis, we'll just hold our collective breaths and hope it was just the sun reflecting off the flash unit... :?

We really couldn't have been doing anything over 85 in an 80 zone, so I don't think we've really got anything to worry about.

Kaz was behind me doing 80 on the dot. I dont reckon they'll worry about 5 over even if it was a happy snap.
