Well I think there's a difference man, like speaking seriously.. people plan to do something, they either don't do it, or they don't try or give up looking for somebody who can do it.
This is like.. an actual PLAN and Ben's already tried it before, and if you saw his mini and his garage lol, his mini does 0-100 in like 4.7 seconds lol so I totally believe he can pull this off, just takes time to make everything right. And also, Im sure you'll agree Ben's not the type to toot a horn for nothing.. if he's made the announcement, he's gonna try to make it happen. And if it doesn't happen, well who cares, he tried

Well, I was on the phone to CAPA Performance most of Friday searching for an appropriate snout (pulley) extension. Although the blower is an Eaton M45, because it was a factory unit from a C200 Benz, we think the standard snouts might not fit - so I have to ship the blower down to them to see.
Once I've got that sorted we can begin fabrication on the manifold Everything else after that is easy. Only thing not decided is what ECU im gonna use with it.

hmm just a note on this, if anybody wants an M15 supercharger, I have one spare. I bought it off EBAY for $380.. but since I'm going to be selling my car in the next few months I won't be needing this!
yes, this is the exactly supercharger ben advised me to buy, so it's the right one

I got them for $1400 but I'll probably get rid of them for around $850-900ish I'm not sure, but yea, if you're interested then, I'll hit you up!JOeJOe wrote:subbies, sell me your tail lights?

ok, so its been about 2 months since the big update ... got any more news for us? how did you go with getting the snout extension? have you started on the manifold yet? & do you know what ECU you're gonna need?
... also ... I am wondering if its possible to get an SC that you can mount somewhere & not have to cut into the manifold / extend the snout & all that junk so that it will fit... even if it is just a really small SC unit that'll be good for 5pounds or so..

aye, hurry up with the next update dammit!
Been looking at an Eaton M45 model... would this be suitable?
the MP45 & MP62 models seem smaller, but have longer snouts on them.. & in general seem like a better unit to be going for.. but ... is it going to be less likely for me to find one on the cheap?
