I have special brackets that mount the seat back further

They're a catalogue item at most Mini parts shops!

Almost finished preparing the new subframes. All new hight adjustable suspension, all new poly bushes throughout. Even went to the trouble of
welding nuts the to front subframe so you don't have to be an octopus man when bolting it all back together. Also fitted some nice
new adjustable negative camber brackets to the rear arms.

This bracket holds the front pivot point of the rear control arm in place & has a sliding mount point on it.
