So we've a lot of beefy high powered front wheel drives here (or had over the years) this can lead to excess oversteer what have you done to combat this?

Additionally has anyone added toe in on the rear to create slight understeer to counteract the oversteer or what other solutions have you come up with

Usually they just man up and floor it.
Mine could not pull a greased stick out of a dogs arse....but it does handle very well. You need to suck it and see.
Someone elses set up may not be good for you.

Is that a traction due to high power issue or saying that the car has no power?
I don't find flooring it really fixes any problem when your sliding off the far side of the track but I do recognise this is something I can personally improve with better weight transfer and better control of speed into and out of corners

I don't really have anything insightful to add here, but the question has been bugging me regardless. From what I can find, pretty much any oversteer in a FWD car is a result of the driver, so I'm not sure where the "more power = excess oversteer" equation is coming from, unless you're confusing either torque-steer or lift-off oversteer with power oversteer in a RWD.

Factory alignments specs already call for 3mm of toe in on the rear.

I gave the super polesmoker mobile a hiding up the mountain after bonfire. I found the limits on one corner and it was basically like a four wheel drift. I would have expected mad understeer.
