Hostile Performance - FTO Parts...

Post by HostileSmoker »

Hi Guys,
Hope it's ok to advertise our company here - wasn't really sure who to ask.

Basically, I've been an FTO owner for several years now, have a black GPX with original Veilside kit (modded to take facelift lights) and a custom vented bonnet, full black & red leather interior, and plenty of performance mods (take a look here: www.hostilesmoker.com for my personal website)

Anyway, to cut a long story short, me & my partner (Lucy - or 'Blu' on the UK FTOOC) have recently set up a business supplying tuning & styling parts for a range of Japanese cars, particularly specialising in the FTO at present.
We sell most things you could want, bodykits, air filters, exhausts, suspension, brakes, engine bay styling, interior & exterior bits - and can also source most things that aren't listed on our website.
We're continuously expanding our product range & developing new products of our own (having added over 150 products so far this month with easily over 100 more to add before the end of the month - including gauges, suspension, brakes & filters)

At present the online ordering system is only set up to accept orders within the UK, however if anybody is interested in any of the products on the site (or anything else at all) feel free to drop us an email and we will endeavour to help out the best we can - obviously shipping costs to Oz are going to be high but if you really want something...

So feel free to take a look, all comments welcome.

Cheers guys,
Mike & Lucy.

The only thing I can suggest really mate is that Tein suspension is (IMO) very cheap over here for some reason - Tein has a bigger 'image' following than D2 by far and yet for some reason it is still very reasonably priced compared with other 'big name' brands... :?

Or maybe our prices are upside down compared to yours as we're on the other side of the world - you know, the same way the water runs down the plughole in opposite directions?

I already have this set up on my Complete FTO Site. It seems a bit pointless to duplicate the effort in putting it together again. Currently looking at linking the site with the Australian forum (with Bennoz help):

http://www.completefto.com.au/fto_showcontent.asp

Will provide logins to anyone that wants to add or modify site content (articles, guides, parts, suppliers etc).

If you just want to look/use, its free for all.

Firstly, sorry for the length of this post, but I thought I should clarify things.

I dont sell anything. I am simply providing a free service. All im trying to do is collect all the information/suppliers/part numbers/guides/articles and everything else I can find, put a decent search capability behind it so that rather than spending hours trawling the web for info, everyone can look in one place for it.

I have already indexed most of the FTO sites on the web. You can actually search for their stuff within my site.

The only problem I currently have is people to add stuff..... If you are interested in adding stuff to the site - suppliers, parts, guides, articles or if you know where there is stuff I dont have on my site, let me know and ill give you a login so that you can (or let me know so that I can). A login will let you:

Add or Modify Headings
Add or Modify Parts
Add or Modify Suppliers
Add or Modify Breakdowns
Add or Modify Articles, News, Guides and Events

Send me a private message (dstocks) if you want to be able to add stuff and I will send you a login that will let you.

hey hostile
grat site
but to tell u the truth
the only problem is u make everything copyrighted when i right click
why dont u jsut have watermark on your pics so whe npeopel use it in otehr sites they know its copyrighted?
the copyright right click thing is really annoying
i love to search through that site
i have cable connection but i love to open every subheading in new windows
but because of that function i cannot!
and afterwards i just couldnt be bothered to keep on looking
just my 2cents

Hmmmm,

Have to fix that. Put things together so fast that I havent had a chance to check anything for typos....

Fixed now...

Apart from the typo, how did you find the site - any other suggestions???
