Well i'll be interested to see how my new tyres go....if its windy i think we can forget about the cruise. As some of the way are open twisty road, with wet surface & high wind, even thought you in a 100kmph zone, you be stupid to do more the 60kmph

wet / dry / windy / what-ever.

your FTO is waterproof and should have some tread on the tyres,

so GO THE CRUISE!

Tarkus will be there at maccas in Nunawadding.

ok ok .... wtf happened to my tire??? too fast (possibly but i don't think so) not enough tire pressure?? most probable...anyway close inspection to all the tires at home has me stumped as they are all about 32psi which should be enough anyway...anyway not too much damage later my baby will live...

Thanks to Supplantor/Kev/Mil for their help with the car...actually I found the correct socket in the back seat when I got home hehe pitty my jack handle was f&^king wrong...hahah at least I know...

Hope you guys had fun for the pics I took at the start here you go:

Well it think is the "uniroyal" mate, I never seen a tyre came off like that under pressure. Consider the circumstances, you are very lucky with only a minor damage.

Anyway i manage to take one pic ehhehehee & here it is

lol doods...ya thanks for your thoughts....looks like I had a leak in that tyre and must have just been low enough to let it rip off under a bit of tight cornering...looking into the tyre brand etc they don't seem too bad made in germany but hey ...

Looking at the damage its really minor...wont be much to fix...I have a few other things I want done so its a poor, but ok excuse..

It was pretty scray...my other half was like totally pissed with me...cos when the car started to understeer and cos of my speed etc I though it could be easily corrected...anyway it just kept going and going and going and next thing I'm aiming for this white ute on the otherside of the road...full lock the other way saw me miss the ute (damn that was scary) but not enough to stop going in the ditch...where I hit some small pole thing...anyway the wheel is in decent shape which is suprising...but it will be checked out tomorrow.

In my other car I went down to Ringwood near my place and bought a new jack and guess who I saw driving back?? the west end boys...was gonna catch up and blast past with my ford but decided I had enough fun for one day...

Lesson learnt...check tire pressure regulary..I checked mine like 10 days ago...goes to show you can never be too careful!

dude, it was a shame that happened to u. At least no one was hurt. As Kev said, it could have been way worse.
Make sure when u get the tyre replaced u also get a wheel alignment.
Good to finally put a face on some of the newer members and also that it was my first cruise in ages :P
I was told off during the time i was leading for my excessive cornering speeds and that the others couldnt been see in my rear view :D
Thats what i like to hear 8)
