Actually in the last 40+ day on NYE my FTO was fine...I'm used to the sh*t cooling system on my ford which can't really handle it over 37 when you are in traffic..the FTO seemed to be much better - assuming my temp guage was right :P

well if its light cruising than it should be fine, but if u guys are planning to hammer it a bit than u will notice a difference in yr performance. Especially the turbo boys.

Cool so not only is it 41 degrees, we will be crusing with the aircon on too! I hope you guys don't hammer it coz I'm not gonna try and catch up.

And thanks Supplanter that would be awesome if you could drop those off. Are you coming? or just popping into maccas?

may i ask what wer actually doing on this cruise?

so tis a drive down to sorrento beach? cos that'll be nice - considering the weather as well. a day spent at the beach... or are we gonna do a run up to arthurs still... 8O

in this forcasted weather... 41... i dont wanna be hammering my car, doing heel climbs, twistys or anything that may have me pushing the car to the emergency lane and calling a tow truck lol

Mell, I think nacho is bringing the cricket gear :o

rmbr to bring: board shorts and towels people... and WATER!

however, my status atm is 'tentative'... :(

should be ok and better than doing nothing at home...cos we will have constant air flow in the fwy then everything should be fine...plus my aircon is awsome and better than my house...so i would rather go...:P

Hmmm all your reasons wouldn't go well with me....

1. I live at the beach

2. I've got the biggest LG ArtCool air-con that can freeze my balls off at home.

3. Damit i want to finish Need For Speed Most Wanted ehehehehehe (The real reason for me :P )

Good news, average news, bad news.

Good news, the boys down at Rev Zone did a great job on the tune. Craig really knows his shizzle. Was way happy with the job and the price.

Average news, ecu is still acting up a little  Getting some odd readings out of the alternator, so at least thats pointing in the right direction. Back to shop next week hopefully.

Bad news, I won't be joining you tomorrow. In all seriousness I would have to be out of my freaking mind to go crusing in 40+. Believe me I would love to come out and give the new fuel maps a thrashing, but part of owning a car is knowing it's limits.

Have fun, cruise safe and lay rubber...

Well the cruise at least made it all to way to the "Yellow Petrol Station" and I will post up pics of this Vic cruise if you like.

It's an interesting photo of a red FTO with a semi irate driver.

Oh well maybe in a couple of weeks time we can do something........
