Depends how long you're driving for / how hard you're driving etc ... and whether that little bit of extra power really matters to you...

If your car is a daily driver then it probably isn't going to make much difference to you at all ... If you're just making short trips then the air really wouldn't be getting hot enough for the thermal gaskets to do much for you....

If you're going to be spending half a day at the track then it would be more likely to help, I'm not sure about how much it will help etc... but even spending an afternoon at the track you still won't be doing like 20 laps non stop .... you need to give your car a rest every few laps

Even though air is passing through the intake manifold, especially the FTO units which are very large, the heat soak from the manifold will effect the air as it passes through the manifold. In fact the manifold is cooled by the air moving through it taking heat with it. So these blocks work by reducing the heat soak in the first place into the intake manifold.

As I have said previously, the proof is in hte pudding. Go for a drive and place your hand on the intake manifold and feel how hot it is. Now imagine that 25% of that heat is now gone after the same drive - its not rocket science but plain basics.

I am making another batch of these as they have always sold well and is a gretat upgade option for FTO owners. Very simple to fit - most owners when we do a spark plug change usually do it then at the same time

I take it the brackets that hold the intake manifold on have to be altered for it to fit? The blocks are a bit thicker than the original metal gasket!

me too, i'll buy a set. surely most people have noticed how much harder their cars go at night... same principle- colder/ denser intake charge

I have at least 7 - 8 manifold gaskets in stock now - just run out of throttle body gaskets. So if you want to get some of these they can be ordered and sent out immedietly.

The main bolts don't have to be altered, the supporting brackets at the back of the manifold may have to be elongated on the holes or we normally find just loosening the top and bottem bolts, gives enough movement for it to refit up properly.
