The Port Macquarie Region is home to some of the best driving Roads in NSW, noatably the Oxley Highway, which leads up to Comboyne. On arriving in Port Macquarie I figure we can drive into town, catch the sights and then take a trip upto Comboyne for Lunch at the 'Udder Cow Cafe'. The sights from the trip up the mountain are worth the drive alone.

I must point out that this is no pissy mountain. About 20-30mins of winding roads up to the top and then back down again. Good fun for the FTO.

ROUGH PLAN: Meet at 10.30am. Run around Port Macquarie for an hour or so, see the sights and what not (11.30am) then head upto Comboyne (12.30am). Lunch and a few pictures by the mountain. We should be done to go by about 1.30pm for the trip home.

p.s - Maybe I over dramatised the whole thing but you'll never know untill you come.

Hopefully this things is still on. I haven't been able to hunt down the other FTO in Port as of yet. It seems after frequenting the 'lookout' everyday for a few months showing off his car he has dropped off the face of the earth.

Anyways, hopefully I'll see some of you guys soon and hopefully it ain't raining!
