OK - lets set a date.

19th (Saturday) is out for me because the EVO/GSR guys are having their track day then. Shame I will not be attending this time, but I will be heading out to have a look none-the-less, catch up, take lots of photo's, also some video, and wish like crazy that I was out there....

Sunday would be (should be) Ok though (20th).

Weekend after that is Clipsall, so also out. Will have outlaws here for two weeks after that so going to be difficult to justify taking off for the day. Of course, the longer we leave it, the better chance we will have two cars, so they can have the Telstar.

Will be along in something - even as a passenger???

So I suggest either the 20th, or slip it back to the 2nd or 3rd April.

Just a quick check on my FTO calender  shows me you are out by a day. The 20th March is a monday and I'll probably be at work lol. If you meant Sunday the 19th, thats probably better, but will be the day after my house warming (prolly still be drunk).
It depends on how many we can get together i suppose. I'm happy to let it slip till early April if it suits more ppl.

P.S. Happy Birthday Shaun :D

Ahem....yes.... ...silly me.

See http://www.ftoaustralia.com/modules.php ... pic&t=7360

Lets set a date and make this happen while everyone is keen.

Also, who is interested in the Show 'n' Shine with the EVO/GSR guys? I will be there, so long as the car is on the road.

If we make a cruise date before then, we can plan our "attack"... :D

Track day is an MEGC event - but a reasonable bunch of guys I suppose....

It is at Mallala - about 45 minutes north of Adelaide (depending on your start point, of course).

If you wanted to enter, you just have to join ($30 for the rest of the year) and then it's $90 for the day. Excellent event - sooooooo wish I was driving this year too.

Set at 12th March - I suggest meet, drive, lunch, perhaps taste some wines, stop for some photo's etc. Usual deal.

Meet @ 10am at usual spot - then up to Gorge Road and the Barossa.

If we could all get hold of UHF radios it would be good also - Steve - can you get hold of any for the day? I have two, but need batteries.

I do request that we arrange to get some "driving" photo's and/or video at some point. Sure we can find somewhere suitable.

I may or may not have a car - work on not at this point.....Could come in Telstar, or passenger? Will work out closer to the date.

If people could post their confirmation it would be appreciated.

Confirmed
Sparhawk - Steve
testlabmonkey - Ben
Jamie - EVO V

Are we still planning to head up gorge rd ?

I will probably have a passenger already, so I cant offer you a ride, sorry.

P.S. sorry to hear about the engine. What is wrong that you need a new one ?

Sorry Steve, didn't read the directions.

OK - change of plans. Just meet at the normal spot. Easier that way.

No problems. I sent you a PM with some ideas and details. Maybe an earlier start than 10:30 though. By the time we get on the road, and up to the valley, and since we'll be stopping a few times for a taste of the occasional wine, and then lunch, and then photo/video shoots, the day will fly by. I dont have a time limit, but most places finish wine tasting between 4 and 5. 10am start at the latest I suggest...

Well, it seems I wont have a passenger on Sunday, so if you cant get a ride in the EVO shaun, I can fit you in. Keeping in mind though if there are 2 of you, one will have to sit in the back  but at least its still an FTO
