Mounting brackets for single DIN head unit

I recently replaced my 2DIN HU with a 1DIN HU and don't have any brackets to mount it so it currently sitting in the middle of the hole

Are there any generic mitsubishi brackets that will allow me to install 2 1DIN size units in there? Anyone go from 1DIN to 2DIN and have some brackets spare?

I thought the same bracket is used...with screw holes for the CD unit and a blanking plate or shelf...although i got a shelf and it doesn't fit. I have a double din unit also...

The old head unit was basically held in with 3 pieces of bent mecano

so no real brackets.

I'd just pop into a car stereo shop, wear something skimpy and they should be able to hook you up with something. They might not even charge you if you choose your outfit carefully.

I had no luck locally. I ended up buying a stereo bracket from Funky Styling for like $40. Was perfect however my shelf didn't fir which they sais to send back...which I didn't lol.

mitsu have original brackets that work a treat with 1din units.
