dunno why keeps giving me some permission denied bs...! wont load from a link either

I had the same issue and found only the 'Link to off-site Avatar' works.

What was the link you entered?

What he said... you can only use an external link for avatars.

Just chuck it on Image Shack (clicky) and link from there.
