MGEC Show 'n' Shine - 16th April - Glenelg

As some of you would be aware, the EVO/GSR Club are holding their Show 'n' Shine event at Glenelg on the 16 April (Easter Sunday), and they have invited the FTO Club to participate. They have even designated a specific FTO category with trophy to be won.

So, if you want to stop me winning it, then you will have to come along. Will have club stickers for sale, a DVD of some videos and pictures of past FTO cruises (Sydney and Adelaide), including video from Malacoota, and (hopefully) some info on hats, shirts etc.

Please post your interest on this post. It would be a god chance to show off our cars, meet up with the EVO guys (who are great) and also possibly get some more interest in our club.

Wanna go but Karim (1 of my favourite DJ's) is in town that weekend. Guaranteed I'll be out till sunrise. Trying 2 figure out how to prep car, go to Ultraworld, show n shine and have enough sleep so that I'm not crashing out when I start work @ 10 Sun night. Boot space not quite big enough for nanna nap @ show!

Hey,
nah i cant come down that w/e because im bringing my bashed up FTO up this w/e for the clipsal 500..I cant wait it's going to be wicked!!!

MY rear bumber get's fixed the week after easter..

Also im getting my whole car re-wired because the guy who owned it did a dodgy job so im getting my whole car re-wired and all my sound system eventually installed..

My car will be working fine within 4 weeks. getting my big ass rear spoiler removed so if anyones interested in a rear spoiler......

mines the black car on the right if you want to see sorta what the wing looks like.

Yeah - I will also be done well before then. Just waiting on gaskets etc for the new engine and then will be done - I hope

Cause, we actually have to confirm it with EVO/GSR Club too, but that can wait until next week or so.

Guys......Just keep in touch.....I can let you have late entries if necessary, Its just harder to manage if entries come in last minute.

i came down for the clipsal for 3 days and only seen 2 FTO's and my FTO everyone loved...i got so many coments going thru hindley street...now me and my friend are going to come down for the adelaide motor show should be good..

Sounds like you are having some success with getting you car back on the road. Are you still planning on installing the GT wing ? or will that wait till after the show-n-shine ? I think it would look good. You should do it.

Are we planning some kind of get together before though. You did mention something. I'd like to get my FTO Australia sticker on so when we show off our cars, we advertise the club as well... Let me know when you're mobile again, and we can organise it. Even if its just meeting somewhere for lunch or a drink or something.
